Summary
Description The anti-inflammatory effect of IL-19 in vascular diseases.png |
English:
The IL-19 binds to its receptor on the endothelial cells, downregulating the HuR expression and thus decreasing adhesion molecules on the endothelial cells surface to prevent immune cells recruitment during vascular disease. Il-19 also reduces oxidative stress by upregulating the expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1)
