The Palestinian refugee camp of Rashidieh (الرشيدية, also transliterated Rashidiya, Rashidiyah, Rachidiye, Rashidiyyeh, Rashadiya, Rashidiyya, Reshîdîyeh, or Rusheidiyeh) in Tyre, Southern Lebanon. It was built in 1936 for survivors of the Armenian Genocide in the fertile area next to the Ras al-Ain springs, which is assumed to have been the Phoenician site of Ushu/Palaetyrus.
