SOUTHWEST ASIA (AFPN) -- SSgt Brian Bankowski launches a Force Protection Airborne Surveillance System , also known as the Desert Hawk, here July 23. Operators slingshot the unmanned aerial vehicle into the air with a 50-foot bungee cord .
