Summary

Description
English: Village Green, Ashford Carbonell. What's left of it; the roads have nibbled away at the central island. Bannut tree (Juglans regia) was planted for the 1953 Coronation, sadly no walnuts off it yet. The once wee cottage in the background was sold sometime ago for more than half a million pounds. The cleansing of rural Britain is nearly complete.
