The lines of text are read left-to-right , starting at top left corner. ( NOTE , the photographed FACE, is not completely flat, but 2 and 1/2 lines of text are, on a "flat, in-focus section".) Stone with a votive inscription with the name of Nazi-Maruttash , son of Kurigalzu II . Babylonian artwork, Kassite period.
