Description
English: This photograph was taken by me at the Brahmeshvara temple (also spelt Brahmeshwara or Brahmeswara) in Kikkeri, Mandya district, Karnataka state, India. The temple was built in 1171 A.D. during the rule of Hoysala Empire King Narasimha I. This image shows the intricate relief work on the outer wall of the mantapa (hall).
