Wattlesborough Tower is a ruined fortified 13th century manor house or Tower House in Shropshire. It is situated close to the boundary with the Montgomeryshire in Wales . Wattlesborough is a former township within the the present parish of Alberbury . The castle is a Grade 1 listed scheduled monument. Only the roofless tower remains and its condition is officially classified as poor. English Heritage are in discussions with the owners to decide the best way of preserving the building.
