Description
English: Kati Seroussi dancing at a wedding celebration ceremony with seminary girls, from the nearby Michlalah Jerusalem College for Women, at the Beit Midrash Torah (BMT) Yeshiva, Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem. The ceremony marked the marriage to Yoseph Mendelevich and his ability to celebrate a Jewish wedding in a religious service. Yoseph Mendelevich had been recently released from a Soviet prison for his dissident actions, 1981. Photograph taken by Rakel Josephy Berenbaum.
