Summary

Description
English: Condemned Rebuilt 'Patriot' in the yard of Willesden Locomotive Depot.
View eastward, towards the main Sheds: principal ex-LNW Depot near Willesden Junction. No. 45528 'R.E.M.E.' (built 4/33 as 'Sir Herbert Walker, K.C.B.'), rebuilt unnamed 9/48, acquired name 'R.E.M.E.' - for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers - in 9/59, withdrawn 1/63. Here a few weeks earlier it is 'In Store', bereft of nameplates, with chimney sheeted over - and two men in the tender for some reason.
