Summary

Description
English: Wiltax bus RT68 (reg. YJB 68T), a 1979 Leyland Titan (B15) , pictured at the 2007 Cobham bus rally .

The 38th production Titan, unlike the vast majority of production, it was not delivered new to London Transport as part of the dual-door T-class, but instead went to Reading Transport as their bus 68 (along with sister vehicle 69, reg. YJB 69T). Both stayed with that operator in various guises until final withdrawal in 2002, after which their shared history diverges. For detailed information of that period of shared history, see the description on this image (of 69).

After withdrawal by Reading, 68 was sold to Thames Bus, who operated it in a blue livery. It was sold to Wiltax of New Haw, Surrey in September 2005.

It's pictured here in Wiltax livery, with a stylised lettered Leyland radiator grille badge. This has been added to the bus later in its life (possibly while at Thames) - as one of the earliest Titans it was originally delivered to Reading with the earlier 'dustbin lid' circular 'L' Leyland badge.

It saw use with Wiltax until at least 2008, but by 2011 it had been sold to dealer Wealden PSV.
