The Winter Gardens, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, built 1835. For the origins of the building, see: Harrogate People and Places: Harrogate in detail. Section - Montpellier Baths . The glass section burned down, and that part was rebuilt. The original frontage and stone stairway still exist. It is now occupied by Wetherspoons. This hand-tinted postcard is postmarked 30 October 1910. The handwritten message on the back is sent to 66 Forest Road, Nottingham, and says: "Dear Marshall, I hope you are keeping my bed nice & warm (signed illegible)" |
