Summary
Description Wormsloe-jonesmarsh-ga1.jpg |
English:
Jones Marsh, viewed from the Wormsloe Historic Site near Savannah, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. Long Island spans most of the horizon, although part of Skidaway Island is visible through a break in the treeline in the top-right. In colonial times, the Skidaway River flowed through this channel (it now flows between Long Island and Skidaway Island), placing Wormsloe in a strategic position along Georgia's intracoastal waterway.
