Summary

Description
English: Wrexham Central, view SE towards Station.
The station is in the distance, this photograph being taken from near where the new station was opened on 23/11/98. It is at the southern end of the ex-Great Central line from Bidston (also Seacombe until 4/1/60) and until 8/9/62 the northern end of the ex-Great Western branch from Ellesmere. The locomotive is an LMS Stanier class 3MT 2-6-2T, probably off a train from Seacombe.
