Summary
| Description | The Yamaha NS-2000 loudspeakers were the top model of that company and were presented in the fall of 1982. The price was more than about 6.000 German Mark at that time for the loudspeaker pair, which would amount to more than 6.000 Euros in 2023 currency. The box included new technologies like a large 33-cm-subwoofer with a membrane made from carbon fiber, while the midrange and tweeter speakers included the metal Beryllium. The height is 75 cm, one box has a weight of 47 kg. They are still popular and are traded, e.g. on ebay, for prices almost as high as the price new in 1983.
