Summary

Description
English: A view of the south side of the 54 metre high Yorkshire Wheel , that was installed at the National Railway Museum in York . It was sited 53°57′35.81″N 1°5′44.42″W  /  53.9599472°N 1.0956722°W  / 53.9599472; -1.0956722 next to and in line with the southern wall of the museum's Great Hall. Construction started in March 2006 and the wheel operated from 12 April 2006 until 2 November 2008, being dismantled shortly afterwards.
