Zografos Monastery (Bulgarian). Mount Athos. Caption in (Bulgarian) Church Slavonic language, with some Greek. 1817, based on a 17th-century prototype .

In the Ark (of salvation) with the caption "Holy Orthodox Church" at the top [on sky] sail: Jesus Christ (helmsman with oar), Holy Virgin, Apostles (six are painted, Four Evangelists on the left) and Holy Fathers (also six, three prelates of the church at the centre). Saints Peter and Paul hold anchor. Holy Spirit is painted on the sail as a dove descending on those in ship. White flag with Crucifix is aft.
On the bottom (from Earth and Hell) those attempting to stop/harm the Ark (from left to right): false prophet, false patriarch, Antichrist, Antichrist's army mounted on lions, "the New Age" (a dragon who spouts fire), imperial persecutors, Julian the Apostate, Luther (firing at the Church with a rifle), Pope, evil renovationist (patriarch), crowd of heretics with devils behind. At the bottom right - red monster "Hades", from whose mouth a Saracen in a turban shoots at the Church.

В корабле [спасения] с надписью "С[вя]тая Православная Церковь" вверху [по небу] плывут: Иисус Христос (кормчий с веслом), Богоматерь, апостолы (изображены шесть, из них слева евангелисты) и святые отцы (также шесть, в центре три святителя). Пётр и Павел держат якорь. На парусе изображён Дух Святой в виде голубя, нисходящего на находящихся в лодке. На корме белый флаг с крестом-распятием.
Снизу [с земли и из ада] лодку пытаются остановить/повредить (слева направо): лжепророк, лжепатриарх, Антихрист, антихристово войско верхом на львах, огнедышащий дракон с подписью "новая эпоха" на греческом языке, мучители царие, Юлиан Отступник (написано по гречески), Лютер (стреляет в Церковь из ружья), римский папа, злой обновленец (патриарх), сборище еретическое, а за спиной у них бесы. В правом нижнем углу - красное чудовище "адъ", из пасти которого стреляет в Церковь сарацин в чалме.
