conversate verb [ ˈkɒnvəˌseɪt ]

• engage in conversation.
• "sometimes it's nice to be able to sit and conversate"
Origin: late 16th century (in the sense ‘associate oneself with’): from Latin conversari (see converse1). The current sense dates from the early 19th century and is probably a back-formation from conversation.
